System Design and Development
Systems today must satisfy a variety of needs, from the Internet to the desktop to the mainframe computers. We design and develop systems and components that can be accessed from thick or thin clients, exist on a server (traditional or WEB access) or a desktop system, or any combination of the above. We can also develop systems for Internet and traditional client-server systems.
These components are objects that can be used in any open system. Because these components are designed to meet your specific requirements, the source code belongs to you and you are able to update these components as desired. We will provide documentation and/or training to assist you in these efforts as required.
Entire systems can be developed or individual components. These components could include: Product Calculations, Underwriting Requirements, Policy Applications, Links between Systems, User Interface, Advanced Marketing Applications, Non-qualified Benefit Calculations, Specific Reports, System Utilities.
System Maintenance
Situations arise where existing systems need to be updated or enhanced to meet the demands of current technology, life insurance regulations, or new sales trends. In these cases, it is possible for us to analyze the existing system, review the documentation, and determine the most cost effective and timely method for satisfying current needs.
In many instances we will be able to provide programmers to perform the actual maintenance and achieve the desired results. Programmers are available with a variety of technical and business expertise. This ranges from desktop to mainframe systems and illustration to administration systems. In some cases, it may be feasible for us to train your staff to perform the desired results. It may be possible to utilize teams of programmers from LPS Group and your staff to complete the project more expeditiously. Other solutions could also be recommended including other vendors.
